It's looking like next two weeks (17th - 28th of February) will be really busy in Hlíðarfjall. Because of that we have to get some information out and we ask our customers to go through this list:
- Limited capacity
Allowed capacity is 25% of what the mountain can have.
- Free area
Unfortunately we can´t allow people to come to our free area, we will try to groom the way from Hlíðarfjall to Hálönd which can be used as a beginners course.
- Day passes/Norðurlandskort
It´s not available to use day passes or Norðurlandskort when the tickets to the resort are sold out.
- Disabled/Hetjurnar
Since it´s not possible to buy these kind of tickets through our webpage we will allow people to buy these tickets through our sales window, given they can provide a disability card. We can't let unlimited amount of people up to the area so we ask that these customers call us beforehand to +354 462-2280 and check the availability.
- Winter passes
We can´t sell winter passes during these days unless for kids born 2005 and later.
- Ticket sales
Tickets are only available to buy online on our sales page.
- Ski data cards
It's important to have the ski data cards ready before ordering online. It´s not possible to put both parts of the same day on one ski data card.
- Restaurant
The restaurant is closed, more information about that will come soon.
- Keep the area clean
It´s unacceptable to throw garbage and soda cans in the area, everything should go in to specifically marked bins that are throughout the area.
- Two meter rule and facemasks
It´s important to respect the two meter rule and that wearing a facemask is mandatory in Hlíðarfjall.
We are excited for these upcoming days and we hope that our guests will follow the rules in the resort and have a good time in Hlíðarfjall. We ask that you show our staff patience and respect while we promise to do everything we can to make your stay as good as it can be.
