New restrictions regarding ski areas are in place from today.

There have been few changes regarding ski areas in Iceland.

The maximum capacity 75% remain unchanged.

All indoor facilities are open:

• Wearing facemask indoors is required
• Maximum of 50 people can be together in a room
• Proximity limit between customers is 2 meters.

Lifts:

• 2 meter rule while wating in the que
• 1 meter rule in the chairlift, but those skiers who request it are allowed to go alone
• no obligation to wear facemask outdoor
