Summer opening in Hlidarfjall in July and August

Our chairlift, Fjarkinn, will be running from 7th July until 4th September.
We have six bike paths in the mountain which were prepared by bike association Akureyri and then there are also three others, two paths are starting by Cross country house and one by the chairlift, Fjarkinn. All these paths lead into Glerárdalur.
Cyclists can take their bikes with them in the lift. Those who only want to go up to enjoy the fantastic view over Akureyri and Eyjafjörð in Strýtuskáli can purchase tickets both up with the lift and back down. From Strýtuskáli there is a marked hiking trail up to the top of Hlíðarfjall mountain.
